Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Remember (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds a capture-first app that helps you save anything worth keeping and decide what to do with it later. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Remember app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have over it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and notification preferences when you create an account.
  • Capture data — the links, notes, images, and reminders you save, along with the Keep, Remind, or Let Go decisions you make about them.
  • Usage data — basic device and app-interaction information (such as app version and crash logs) that helps us fix bugs and understand which features are actually useful.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Run the core features of Remember — capture, Inbox, and reminders.
  • Bring saved items back to you at the right time.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the service.
  • Communicate important updates about your account or the product.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of what you capture for advertising.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep what you save private to you.

5. Your Choices & Rights

You can export or delete your captured items at any time from within the app. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain it for legal or security reasons.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted vendors for things like hosting, analytics, and customer support. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Remember is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the most recent version.

9. Contact Us

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@remember.app.
